Heritage Month Special Interprovincial Vacation Centers

Heritage Month 2022 took place in August, on the theme “Art and Entertainment”.

Once again, the provinces have given an interprovincial dimension to Heritage Month and for this 6th year of cooperation, the South, North and Island provinces, as well as their partners, have chosen, in the town of Moindou, the heritage site of Teremba Fort to welcome children from vacation and leisure centers in the territory.

There are a total of 76 children, supervised by the animators of the Association des Villages de Magenta, the Association Omnisport de Népoui and theThe Marguerite Association, who, thanks to the financial support of the Department of Culture, Youth and Sports of South Province, were able to benefit from a rich and varied program of activities.

One of the objectives was to involve children more and in a fun way in discovering their common history, through artistic and heritage workshops, initiations to archaeological excavations, ancestral cob techniques, and outdoor physical activities.
